USDMA Reviews Preparations for Statewide Mock Drills Across All 13 Districts – 28 February 2026.
The Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority (USDMA) reviewed preparations for large-scale mock drills scheduled across all 13 districts of Uttarakhand from 16 to 18 March 2026. The exercise will assess disaster preparedness at district and tehsil levels through simulated scenarios including earthquakes, forest fires, landslides, floods, cloudbursts, avalanches, industrial accidents, stampedes and drowning incidents. The initiative aims to strengthen local response capacity, inter-agency coordination, communication systems and emergency preparedness, supporting USDMA’s Zero Death Goal.
