USDMA Meeting with Education Department: Disaster Management Plans to Be Prepared for All Schools.
11 September 2026 | Dehradun: The Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority (USDMA), in coordination with the Education Department, has initiated a strategy to prepare Disaster Management Plans for all government and private schools across Uttarakhand. The plans will include local risk assessment, warning and communication systems, evacuation routes, first aid, fire safety, search and rescue, mock drills, and dedicated response teams to strengthen the safety and preparedness of students and school staff.
